Ambiance: excellent! sea breeze in your face, sand on your feet, candle lit dinners..

Service: prompt..

Location: Behind EDC House, or proceed further on Mahalaxmi Temple road. 5 mins from Mushtifund School.

Best things: Butter Chicken, Prawn curry, [Addition by reader:] Mix Fried Rice

Ambiance: nothing great.. typical hindu restaurant.. quiet serene place..

Service: you need to be patient my friend.. else this place will teach that to you :) great place to get started on meditation.. [Addition by reader:] normal. not snappy quick nor road roller slow!

Value for Money: good for family outings.. reasonably priced..

Best things: Goan Chilly Chicken.. other items such as Xacuti are okey dokey..

Ambiance: bar re baba!

Service: wait 10 mins and then enjoy..

Value for Money: absolutely..

Nostalgia, Raia

Location: Uzro-Raia, Near Eduardo Faleiro's residence (Ex-MP)

Best things: everything on the menu! Recommend having Caldo Verde (Potato Soup), Rissois and Prawn Codi (with ambado). For dessert, you gotta have the Bolo Sansrival (Cashew+Almond cake).. careful its toooo heavy!

Ambiance: Outstanding!

Service: Although Chef Fernando is no more, his wife makes sure you are well served :)

Value for Money: worth every penny!

Kombdi Wada, Porvorim

Location: NH-17, after Jivottam Matt

Best things: Kombdi wada thali Kolhapur style :)

Ambiance: thumbs down :(

Service: not so prompt..

Value for Money: Nope! Once in a blue moon, its fine.. office-goers should look at other options..

Location: Close to Hanuman Temple, on the way to Sai baba temple Verla.

Best things: Nusteeeeeeee (Viswon, Sungta ...)

Ambiance: Meow!
